Choosing the perfect shower will depend on the way your existing
system operates with simplified options being:-
1. Electric (instant heated as you need it)
2. Mixer (using your home's hot water supply either from ank
or combi boiler)
3. Power (mixer system with booster pump)

With choices and styles to suit most homes, here is a brief guide
to shower choices
|
|
ELECTRIC SHOWERS
|
Most electric showers draw water direct from the cold mains
supply and heat it as it is used - day or night. So not only
are they particularly useful for those who don't have a stored
hot water supply, but they are the most versatile because virtually
every home can have one. Mira electric showers offer a choice
of power ratings, from 7.5 kilowatt to 10.8 kilowatt, with the
higher rating producing a greater flow rate. The Mira Sport
9.0 and 10.8 are designed for those who seek power and quality
without compromise. And the Mira Advance boasts precise thermostatic
control to prevent sudden temperature changes, the first electric
shower to offer such safety feature. Please remember: during
the colder months the performance of electric showers in general
may vary because the cooler temperature of incoming cold water
will reduce the flow rate as showering temperature is maintained.
However, the new Mira Sport is designed to limit this reduction
and the Mira Advance will compensate automatically.

MIXER SHOWERS
|
Offering exceptional performance throughout the year, without
requiring electrical connections, mixer showers combine ease
of installation with ease of use to create a showering experiences
which is both invigorating and pleasurable. Mira's range of
mixer showers are innovative, practical and stylish. Mixing
both the hot and cold water either from a cistern fed supply
or from a combi.

POWER SHOWER
|
As the name suggests, power showers produce a more impressive
spray force than either electric or gravity-fed mixer showers.
This is because a pump boosts water pressure to produce exceptionally
powerful flow rates. Mira has a power shower to suit virtually
all needs, tastes and lifestyles. If you already have, or decide
to choose, a Mira 88, Mira Excel or Mira Realm mixer shower,
you can transform it into a power shower simply by fitting a
pump. Alternatively, you can replace it altogether with a Mira
Event Manual or Thermostatic all-in-one power shower. Please
remember: power showers use more water than other types of shower
and, like all electrical appliances, the pump will emit a low
hum.
